World Malaria Day 2009

Today is the inaugural day for http://e-publichealth.com. I am writing from Budapest and about to have dinner with @berci but before eating, I had to start this blog by acknowledging World Malaria Day.
The distribution below displays the 109 malarious countries distributed across four regions.
Today we celebrate the global effort to control malaria, a critical time, as we are two years away from the 2010 targets set by UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon. We are two years to meet this target.
